There are about five main oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic. Each of these hosts a unique set of creatures and ecosystems. Oceans play a crucial role in our planet's climate, as they regulate temperatures and weather patterns by absorbing heat from the sun.
