Maine Lobster Festival 2026
The Maine Lobster Festival (July 29‑August 2, 2026) is a free‑admission, multi‑day celebration centered on Maine’s iconic lobster. Core attractions include a massive lobster cooking area, a cooking contest, and a variety of seafood tastings. Arts and crafts vendors line the grounds, while entertainment spans live music, the "Steins and Vines" wine‑and‑beer garden, and a children’s marine tent. Competitive events feature the International Great Crate Race, a delegate competition, a road race/fun run, and a dog show. The festival’s signature Big Parade showcases floats, a Grand Marshal, and the Sea Goddess. Additional highlights are the Neptune’s Return poster contest, a world‑largest lobster cooker, and numerous vendor booths.
