Interplast is the first trade fair in the industry to bring together the entire plastic production chain. The entire production chain of plastic articles is represented at Interplast, from the raw materials, to the finished product. This includes design, prototyping and mould construction, injection machine, extrusion machines, blow, cutting, welding, impressions, thermoformings, recycling, peripherals and packagings. The trade show has been successful for 10 editions because it attracts a wide range of people from all industries.
The region in which the event takes place is also a strong point: the Southern Region, responsible for 30% of brazilian plastics volume, is the second-most important pol in the plastics industry. Santa Catarina alone represents 16% of Brazil. In Joinville, where the event is held, some of the biggest brazilian plastic product manufacturers are located. Interplast is the biggest event in Brazil for this sector. Interplast received visitors from 24 Brazilian states, including a large number from Sao Paulo. Other countries from the Americas and Europe also attended.
