The fair is closed on Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd, so plan your visit accordingly. Also, remember to bring comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, as there is a lot to see and do!
The San Mateo County Fair is a fun and exciting event that combines old traditions with new and innovative attractions. From June 5th to June 14th, 2026, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including a lively midway carnival with rides and games, tasty food and shopping choices, and impressive fair exhibits showcasing local talent and creativity. One of the newest highlights is the drone light show, which lights up the night sky after the last Main Stage performance on May 30th, May 31st, and June 1st only. This spectacular show uses many drones flying together to create colorful and moving pictures in the sky, a truly modern twist on traditional fair entertainment.
