Municipal Fair 2026
The Kommunalmesse 2026 is Austria's largest municipal trade fair, taking place in Salzburg on 1‑2 October 2026. Around 250 exhibitors will showcase products and services across all sectors relevant to local governments, from international corporations to innovative start‑ups. The exhibition spans 17,000 m² of indoor and outdoor space, featuring the latest machinery, digital tools, infrastructure solutions, energy and sustainability technologies, mobility concepts, and public‑service software. Over 7,000 municipal decision‑makers and 3,000 daily visitors are expected to network, receive personalized consulting, and test new equipment on the open‑air area. The event runs alongside the Austrian Municipal Day, offering political panels, speeches by key politicians, and a gala evening, providing a comprehensive platform for policy discussion and business matchmaking within the municipal sector.
