The event, held from July 9 to 11, attracted over 400 companies showcasing the latest in cutting-edge technologies in metalworking. The exhibition provided a unique platform for specialists — from machine operators to CNC programmers — to gather, share insights, and explore new advancements away from the crowded atmosphere of larger trade fairs.
This year's event marked a significant milestone, celebrating five successful years of FaMeta. Attendees were treated to live demonstrations of 67 machines under power, alongside over 450 minutes of workshops and seminars. Notable names in the industry, such as DMG MORI, Burkhardt+Weber, and Mazak, participated, providing valuable expertise. The personal atmosphere of the fair encouraged meaningful discussions and networking opportunities, setting it apart from more generalized exhibitions. With its focus on quality interactions, FaMeta has become a go-to event for professionals in southern Germany and parts of Austria. Looking ahead, organizers are already planning for the next FaMeta in 2027, aiming to improve the experience even further.
