Throughout the conference, we learned amazing things from inspiring keynote speakers like Dr. Lucy Hone and Dr. Christopher Kerr. They taught us valuable lessons about resilience in difficult times and the experiences patients go through at the end of life. We also celebrated remarkable achievements, giving out awards to outstanding individuals and teams in the hospice community. From music therapy initiatives to community partnerships, the innovation and creativity shown by these groups are truly heartwarming. It’s encouraging to see how people come together to improve care for those in need, and how dedicated volunteers make a world of difference.
